For the longest time I've used iTerm2 as a replacement for Terminal. It's fast, it's native, it's not yet another lipstick-on-an-Electron-wrapper type of thing. I do like what I see and hear about backtrader.com. I would say they are a notable exception to my general rule of not trusting or using backtesting frameworks. However, I still think it is important to understand how the framework you are using works.
