AI-ready task management and HelpDesk inside Telegram

Basecamp logo Basecamp

A simple and elegant project management system.
Not present

iTasks is a Telegram-native workspace that combines task management, team collaboration, HelpDesk channels, and AI integrations in one Mini App. Teams can create tasks, Kanban boards, deadlines, priorities, subtasks, attachments, comments, time logs, and workflow automation without installing another app or leaving Telegram.

The HelpDesk module lets you connect or create Telegram bots in one click. Each bot becomes an incoming support channel: customers write to the bot they already know, while your team replies from iTasks, assigns owners, changes statuses, adds internal notes, and links conversations to tasks.

With AI API, external assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Codex, Cursor, OpenClow, or any MCP/OpenAPI-compatible tool can work with your workspace through a secure link. AI can search tasks, create and update tasks, change statuses, add comments, read HelpDesk conversations, send replies, add internal notes, and create tasks from customer requests.

iTasks is ideal for small teams, SaaS products, agencies, support teams, and builders who run operations through Telegram and want tasks, support, and automation in one place. Free plan available for small teams; PRO unlocks larger workspaces and AI-powered operations.

Possible disadvantages of Basecamp

Compared to other tools, Basecamp has fewer integrations with third-party apps and services, which can be a drawback for teams relying on a diverse tech stack.
  • Notification Overload
Users may experience too many notifications, especially in larger teams or projects, which can lead to important updates being missed or ignored.
  • Flat Pricing
While flat pricing can be a pro for large teams, it can be less cost-effective for smaller teams or individual users, as they might end up paying for capacity they don't use.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing iTasksBot.com and Basecamp.

What makes your product unique?

iTasksBot.com's answer

iTasks is built where many small teams already work: inside Telegram.

It combines task management, Kanban boards, time tracking, workflow automation, team voice rooms, HelpDesk channels, and AI integrations in one Telegram Mini App.

The most unique part is the HelpDesk + AI layer. Teams can connect or create Telegram bots as support channels, manage incoming customer conversations inside iTasks, link them to tasks, and let external AI assistants work with tasks and HelpDesk conversations through a secure workspace-scoped connection link.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

iTasksBot.com's answer

Choose iTasks if your team already communicates or supports customers in Telegram and you want less app switching.

Traditional tools like Trello, Asana, Jira, Freshdesk, or Zendesk are powerful, but they usually sit outside the place where small teams actually talk to each other and to customers. iTasks keeps tasks, support conversations, files, comments, voice rooms, workflow automation, and AI-powered operations inside Telegram.

It is especially useful for small teams that want a fast start, a lightweight HelpDesk, and AI assistants that can turn messages and customer requests into structured work.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

iTasksBot.com's answer

iTasks is built for Telegram-first teams.

The primary audience includes small SaaS teams, agencies, product teams, service businesses, online communities, e-commerce teams, and founders who already use Telegram for daily work or customer support.

It is especially useful for teams that receive customer requests through Telegram bots and want to manage tasks, support conversations, team collaboration, and AI automation in one shared workspace.

What's the story behind your product?

iTasksBot.com's answer

iTasks started from a simple problem: our small team used Telegram for communication and a separate task tracker for work. We were constantly switching between apps, losing context, and turning chat messages into tasks manually.

The first idea was simple: what if the task tracker lived exactly where the team already communicates?

That became iTasks: a Telegram Mini App for task management, Kanban boards, deadlines, time tracking, workflow automation, and voice rooms.

The product has since expanded into HelpDesk channels and AI API integrations, so teams can now manage customer requests from Telegram bots and connect external AI assistants to help with tasks, statuses, replies, notes, and support workflows.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

iTasksBot.com's answer

iTasks is built around Telegram Mini Apps and Telegram bot integrations.

For AI connectivity, iTasks supports remote MCP and OpenAPI + REST, allowing compatible external assistants and automation tools to discover and work with workspace operations.

The product also uses a web application backend for task management, HelpDesk conversations, workflow automation, time tracking, comments, notifications, and workspace data isolation.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

iTasksBot.com's answer

We do not publish named customer logos yet.

iTasks is currently best suited for:

  • Small Telegram-first product teams
  • SaaS teams using Telegram for support
  • Agencies and client service teams
  • E-commerce and service businesses
  • Indie hackers and founders
  • Teams experimenting with AI assistants for operations and support automation

As a writer, I've been using Basecamp for a few years now and I must say, it has been a game-changer for me. Basecamp is a cloud-based project management tool that offers a suite of features to help teams collaborate efficiently and effectively.

I started using Basecamp as a project management tool to manage my writing projects. Initially, I found it a bit overwhelming, but with time I got used to the interface and the features. Basecamp has a clean and intuitive design that makes it easy to use. The dashboard is well-organized and shows all the active projects and tasks at a glance. Basecamp has a variety of features that make it easy to manage tasks, track progress, communicate with team members, and share files.

  • An LLM described a website in detail. The website doesn't exist.
One implementation note that cost me a wrong result: URL predicates need tighter clause boundaries than entity mentions do. Split on sentence punctuation only, and "ๅนถๆฒกๆœ‰ๆŽจๅ‡บไธญๆ–‡ๅฎ˜็ฝ‘๏ผŒๅ…ถไธป่ฆๅฎ˜็ฝ‘ๆ˜ฏ https://basecamp.com" flags that URL as negated โ€” but the negation targets the Chinese site and the URL is being affirmed, one comma later.
