IsItIndexed features and specs

  • User-Friendly Interface
IsItIndexed offers a clean and simple interface that makes it easy for users to quickly check whether a webpage is indexed by search engines. This accessibility ensures that even those with limited technical knowledge can use the tool effectively.
  • Fast Results
The tool provides rapid results, allowing users to instantly know the indexing status of their pages without having to wait for long processing times.
  • Multiple URL Checks
IsItIndexed allows users to check multiple URLs in a single session, streamlining the process for those who need to check the indexing status of several pages at once.

Possible disadvantages of IsItIndexed

  • Limited Search Engine Support
The tool may only support a limited number of search engines, potentially excluding smaller or regional search engines, which could be a drawback for users targeting a broader audience.
  • No Additional SEO Insights
IsItIndexed is primarily focused on checking the indexing status, without providing additional SEO insights or recommendations, which could be a limitation for users seeking comprehensive SEO analysis.
  • Dependence on API Availability
The accuracy and reliability of IsItIndexed depend on the availability and stability of external search engine APIs, which could occasionally lead to inconsistencies or downtime.

React Server features and specs

  • Server-side rendering built-in
React Server provides built-in server-side rendering (SSR) out of the box, which improves initial page load performance and SEO without requiring complex custom setup.
  • Fast page transitions
React Server supports fast client-side page transitions after the initial server render, giving users a smooth single-page application experience while retaining SSR benefits.
  • Built on React
Since it is built on top of React, developers already familiar with React can leverage their existing knowledge and the vast React ecosystem of components and libraries.
  • Code splitting and lazy loading
React Server supports automatic code splitting and lazy loading of components, which helps reduce the initial bundle size and improves page load times for end users.
  • Simplified SSR configuration
Compared to setting up SSR manually with React, React Server abstracts away much of the complexity involved in server rendering, routing, and hydration, making it easier to get started.

Possible disadvantages of React Server

  • Small community and ecosystem
React Server has a relatively small community compared to mainstream frameworks like Next.js or Remix, which means fewer tutorials, third-party plugins, and community support resources are available.
  • Limited maintenance and updates
The project has seen limited active development and maintenance over time, raising concerns about long-term viability, bug fixes, and compatibility with newer versions of React.
  • Sparse documentation
The documentation for React Server is not as comprehensive or well-maintained as that of more popular alternatives, making it harder for new developers to learn and troubleshoot issues.
  • Fewer features compared to alternatives
Compared to mature frameworks like Next.js, React Server lacks many modern features such as API routes, built-in image optimization, incremental static regeneration, and a rich plugin ecosystem.
  • Risk of project abandonment
Given the low activity on the project's repository and the dominance of competing frameworks, there is a risk that the project may become abandoned, leaving adopters without future support or updates.

Analysis of React Server

Overall verdict

  • React Server (react-server.io) is a specialized framework for building server-rendered React applications with a focus on performance and simplified architecture, but I don't have verified, up-to-date information confirming its current status, adoption, or quality compared to alternatives like Next.js or Remix. I'd recommend researching current reviews and documentation directly before making a decision.

Why this product is good

  • Claims to offer server-side rendering capabilities for React applications
  • May provide an alternative approach to SSR compared to more established frameworks
  • Specific technical merits would depend on your project requirements and current documentation

Recommended for

  • Developers researching alternative SSR solutions for React
  • Teams willing to evaluate niche or less mainstream frameworks
  • Projects where established frameworks like Next.js don't fit specific architectural needs
  • Users who should verify current features, community support, and maintenance status before adopting

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing IsItIndexed and React Server.

What makes your product unique?

IsItIndexed's answer

Most SEO tools tell you whether a page is indexed. That's a yes/no answer, and if you already know your page isn't indexed, it tells you nothing. IsItIndexed runs 13 diagnostic checks to figure out why Google won't index your page and what to fix first. It also checks whether AI platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity can find and cite your content. No other single-URL tool combines Google indexability diagnostics with AI visibility checks.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

IsItIndexed's answer

  • No account, no signup, no monthly subscription
  • Paste a URL and get a prioritized report in seconds
  • Free scan covers 4 technical checks
  • Full report is a one-time $4.99 and covers content quality, structured data, page speed, sitemaps, and three AI visibility checks that no competing tool offers
  • SEO agencies charge $500+ for audits covering similar ground
  • The cheapest monthly tools start at $50

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

IsItIndexed's answer

Site owners, solo founders, bloggers, and freelance SEOs who are stuck in "Crawled, currently not indexed" limbo in Google Search Console. People who know something is wrong but don't have an SEO team to diagnose it. Also useful for anyone who wants to check whether AI search engines can actually find their content.

What's the story behind your product?

IsItIndexed's answer

Google's June 2025 core update pruned an estimated 15-20% of the index. More pages than ever are stuck in "crawled but not indexed" and existing tools only check whether you're indexed, not why. At the same time, AI crawlers showed up and nobody had tooling to check visibility across those platforms either. I built IsItIndexed to close both gaps in one scan.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

IsItIndexed's answer

  • Next.js and TypeScript on the frontend
  • Cheerio for HTML parsing
  • All 13 diagnostic checks are rule-based with no LLM anywhere in the pipeline
  • Supabase for report storage
  • Stripe for payments
  • Hosted on Vercel
