Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing InviteDrop and Selfcommit.dev.

What makes your product unique?

InviteDrop's answer

InviteDrop is genuinely free. Every feature, including sending, RSVP tracking and 1,000+ templates, is available with no ads, no coins and no paywall. It pairs that with a cinematic animated envelope reveal that opens on the guest's screen, plus a built-in RSVP dashboard that captures meal choices, plus-ones and guest lists in real time. Most invitation tools lock sending or premium designs behind a subscription or per-card credits. InviteDrop does not.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

InviteDrop's answer

Unlike Evite, Paperless Post and Greenvelope, InviteDrop has no ads interrupting guests, no coins to buy and no paywall on sending. You get premium designs, animated envelopes and full RSVP management for free. It works beautifully on mobile, sends by email or text, and tracks responses, meal choices and plus-ones in one dashboard. It is the no-catch option for hosts who want polished invitations without paying per card or per guest.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

InviteDrop's answer

Everyday hosts planning personal celebrations: weddings, birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, graduations, holidays and parties. Primarily individuals and families rather than businesses, who want beautiful invitations and easy RSVP tracking without paying for premium tiers. It is an especially strong fit for mobile-first hosts who plan and send straight from their phones.

What's the story behind your product?

InviteDrop's answer

InviteDrop was built out of frustration with invitation apps that nickel-and-dime hosts: charging coins to send, locking the nicest designs behind paywalls and cluttering invites with ads. The goal was a genuinely free alternative that still feels premium, with 1,000+ designer templates, a delightful animated envelope reveal and real-time RSVP tracking, and nothing held back behind a paywall. It is built mobile-first so hosts can create and send from anywhere.
