Operator.io runs a personal AI agent that works on its own schedule instead of yours. It is built on OpenClaw, the open source agent framework, and hosted so there is nothing to install and no server to keep alive.
The agent does the work you would otherwise do across a browser and a terminal. Ask it to research a company or a topic and it reads across the open web, including the sites that expose no public API, then comes back with the sources behind its answer. It drafts and sends email and SMS in your voice, handles the routine traffic on its own, and pulls you in when something needs a decision. Point it at a competitor's pricing page, a subreddit, or an earnings calendar and it checks on a schedule and messages you the moment something moves. On the developer side it manages code through GitHub, ships deploys through Vercel, queries your databases, and runs your social accounts across Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit, and more.
Every instruction, decision, and preference gets written to memory, so the agent builds real context about you and your work over months and you stop repeating yourself. Each agent runs in its own isolated environment with its own files and browser sessions, and credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown again in the dashboard after setup.
Because the agent underneath is unmodified OpenClaw, your skills, identity files, and configuration stay portable, so if you ever want to move to your own server you can take your setup with you. Plans start at $20 a month and bundle the model, web search, and media generation into one invoice, with no separate bill from the model providers. Operator.io is backed by Y Combinator.

Operator.io's answer:
You sign in and your agent is already running, with the model, web search, and a browser on one bill and nothing to install. Behind it, each agent is isolated, credentials are encrypted at rest, and keys are rotated and monitored for you, so the security work happens without you touching it.

In my day job[0], I talk to a lot of start-up ventures about blockchain. Only one was honest enough to say they were only using it because, at the time, it was easier to get funding. [0]: https://hyperledger.org/. - Source: Hacker News / almost 5 years ago
Ethereum is not just currency at its core, its a smart contract platform which is used to implement distributed consensus, where each participating party sign the result, with their consensus algorithm. Currency is a side effect. You can just remove the entire ETH/gas dependency on the base, to use the platform as a distributed ledger between all the participants. And use another kind of consensus algo(proof of... Source: almost 5 years ago
I actually built my own daily driver at https://operator.io. There's definitely tradeoffs when it comes to a remote agent service vs. Setting up OpenClaw or Hermes on a Mac Mini, but being able to completely isolate the agent's file system gives me a lot more peace of mind. - Source: Hacker News / 15 days ago
I've spent the last 3 months making it super fast to set up new OpenClaw agents in the cloud https://operator.io - multiple isolated agents in Telegram with their own memory and tasks has been great for automating reminders and acting as a personal exocortex. - Source: Hacker News / 25 days ago
