Possible disadvantages

  • Limited Mainstream Adoption
Objects.to is a relatively niche platform compared to established cloud storage providers like AWS S3 or Google Cloud Storage, which means fewer community resources, tutorials, and third-party integrations are available.
  • Performance and Latency Concerns
Decentralized storage can sometimes suffer from higher latency and slower retrieval speeds compared to centralized cloud services that have globally distributed CDNs and optimized infrastructure.
  • Reliability and Uptime Uncertainty
As a smaller and newer platform, Objects.to may not offer the same level of guaranteed uptime and SLAs that enterprise-grade centralized storage providers commit to.
  • Learning Curve for Non-Web3 Developers
Developers unfamiliar with decentralized storage concepts, content addressing, and Web3 paradigms may face a steeper learning curve when adopting Objects.to compared to traditional storage solutions.
  • Limited Documentation and Support
Being a smaller platform, Objects.to may have less comprehensive documentation, fewer support channels, and slower response times for troubleshooting compared to major cloud providers with dedicated support teams.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing HybridRanking and Objects.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

HybridRanking's answer

Most SEO tools were built for Google's PageRank era. HybridRanking was built for a world where AI search is growing 500%+ year-over-year and only 12% of ChatGPT results overlap with Google's top 10.

Key reasons to choose HybridRanking:

  • Covers the blind spot — we don't replace your SEO stack, we audit what traditional tools can't see: whether AI systems can crawl, understand, and recommend your content
  • Fast and frictionless — 99 checks in ~30 seconds, no signup required for a free audit
  • Immediately actionable — every finding includes a ready-made fix prompt, no consulting needed
  • AI-specific checks — llms.txt, AI bot access, schema for LLMs, E-E-A-T scoring, AI Readiness Score
  • Built for teams — exportable reports, shareable results, designed for agencies managing multiple sites

If you already use Ahrefs or Semrush for traditional SEO, HybridRanking is the missing layer that tells you how you perform in AI-powered search.

What makes your product unique?

HybridRanking's answer

HybridRanking is the first SEO audit tool built specifically for AI search visibility. Traditional tools like Ahrefs and Semrush track Google rankings and backlinks — but they can't tell you whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google AI Overviews will recommend your site.

HybridRanking runs 99 checks in ~30 seconds, covering: - AI bot crawl access (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot) - llms.txt compliance and schema markup for LLMs - E-E-A-T signals and content quality scoring - AI Readiness Score benchmarked against thousands of audits

Every issue comes with a copy-paste fix prompt you can hand to ChatGPT or your dev team — so you go from diagnosis to action in minutes, not days.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

HybridRanking's answer

SEO professionals and content teams who understand that AI search is reshaping how people discover products and information online.

Primary users: - SEO and content agencies managing multiple client sites — they need scalable audits and exportable reports - In-house SEO teams at growth-stage companies looking to stay ahead of the AI search shift - Technical SEO specialists who want granular checks on bot access, structured data, and machine readability

Secondary users: - Solo founders and indie developers who want a quick, actionable audit without enterprise pricing - Content marketers optimizing articles for both Google and AI-powered search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews

The common thread: people who realize that ranking on Google is no longer enough — your content also needs to be visible and recommended by AI systems.

What's the story behind your product?

HybridRanking's answer

HybridRanking started from a simple observation: AI search traffic grew over 500% in a year, yet no tool existed to help websites optimize for it.

Traditional SEO tools track Google rankings and backlinks — but ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews use completely different signals to decide which content to cite. Research shows that 95% of AI citations can't be explained by website traffic and 97% can't be explained by backlinks. The overlap between ChatGPT and Google results is just 12%.

We saw an entire industry flying blind — SEO teams optimizing for Google while AI systems quietly reshuffled which sites get recommended. So we built a diagnostic tool that audits what AI systems actually care about: structured data, content quality, bot access, and machine readability.

The name "HybridRanking" reflects the core thesis: the future of search isn't Google OR AI — it's both. Sites that optimize only for one will lose traffic from the other. Our goal is to give teams a single audit that covers the full picture — traditional SEO health and AI search readiness — so they can defend and grow their visibility across all search surfaces.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

HybridRanking's answer

HybridRanking is built on Ruby on Rails 8.1 — a deliberate choice for rapid iteration and a clean, convention-driven codebase. The frontend uses Hotwire (Turbo + Stimulus) for real-time interactivity without the complexity of a JavaScript SPA framework.

For AI-powered features like content quality analysis and E-E-A-T scoring, we integrate with large language model APIs. Payments run through Stripe, and transactional emails go through Resend.

The infrastructure is lightweight and self-hosted — deployed via CapRover and served through Cloudflare for performance and security.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

HybridRanking's answer

HybridRanking is in an early growth stage. Our users include SEO and content agencies managing multiple client portfolios, in-house SEO teams at growth-stage SaaS companies, and indie founders optimizing their sites for AI search visibility. We serve customers across Europe and the United States.
