My solution, that I started to use probably 20 years ago, is having my own emails & domain on a webhost server. Expect to pay $30 for a webhost, domain name & registration each year. For this application, Elm controlled the routing. So, I had to adapt the scripts to deploy to Netlify instead of GitHub Pages. Why?
