You donโt need a traditional full-time job to get started. Remote internships, freelance projects, and short-term gigs are perfect ways to gain experience and learn on the job. Sites like Simplify.jobs, AngelList Talent (now Wellfound), Hired.com, and r/jobs occasionally post data-related work. You could also cold-message nonprofits or small businesses offering to help them clean up or visualise their data. A lot... - Source: dev.to / 11 months ago
Umm my current job I was found by an internal recruiter threw hired.com. I have gotten multiple interviews where I directly applied for the roll. This include final round. Source: over 2 years ago
I don't like LinkedIn, but in Canada, there are excellent offers at Indeed.com, Levels.fyi and my favorite Hired.com, a friend also recommended simplify.jobs. - Source: dev.to / almost 3 years ago

The recruiter gave me some information about one of the coding rounds and I am not entirely sure what to expect. The description says I will be building a fullstack web app, and the goal is to test my frontend and backend knowledge, and get a working solution. I will be using https://excalidraw.com/ in addition to... Source: over 3 years ago
The specific target interview format I have in mind is via a shared, live editor (e.g. https://coderpad.io/) and a video link, lasting ~1hr. The practice format might be more like 45min for the interview followed by 15 - 30min for feedback and discussion. Doing two of those back to back so both of us get our chance in the hot seat could be exhausting, so this might be two separate sessions. Source: over 3 years ago
