This is more of a question than an answer, but has anyone used an online audio transcription site to create an English transcription directly from a Spanish language audio podcast MP3 file? I was just looking into this this morning, and seems like there are some services out there that will do this, either for free for small files (10 min) or at what seems like a reasonable price. I don't use a 'method'. I use a timer for stuff I don't want to do. I use timer-tab.com A LOT and I also have one of those visual timers. I don't use it all day, and I don't use it for everything. If I need to do something that is boring as hell, like some routine thing for my job, I just set the timer for 10 or 20 minutes. That's it. There is no point in making it complicated. Timer-tab.com is also great, though you can't embed it in a PPT (at least not easily) - you can set any amount of time, the time will fit your window (great if you need to split the screen), and you can set the background and alarm sound. I had fun changing the background throughout the year for holidays, countdowns to break, test days, etc. Source: almost 4 years ago
