Hangfire (https://hangfire.io) includes default exception handling and is very extensible, I think it's a good mid-level choice and a good alternative to other queue mechanism, if you can't afford to host a separated queue service or can't manage a separated service; also scales pretty well (you can have multiple servers handling the same background job queue, or different queues). I used to just use hangfire.io in .net and worked wonderfully for any long running tasks or schedules. Had a great queuing system, UI to know if they failed , etc. That's how I'd send emails, pdf's, and other things along that nature. Then if it were more just a db related operation, just setup a schedule in mssql job service. Source: about 4 years ago

If you haven't already, check out mouseflow. It literally records users on your your site...you can see which pages they go to, what images they look at, how long they're there...it shows exactly what they did on your site in real time. This might give you some insight as to why you're getting solid traffic but no client inquiries especially if you see users consistently hitting a certain point on your site then... Https://mouseflow.com/ you just drop it in, you can rewatch everything people did on your site basically like watching a video.. Shows clicks, typing, everything.. Lot of companies use this to get heatmaps of how products are being used or watch for ui issues. Source: almost 4 years ago
* Seriously, check out MouseFlow screen recorder, it's actually scary. I worked for a client a couple years ago who had it installed and you could see a recording of every user's session. Combined with GeoIP giving you the town they lived in, the client could make a pretty accurate guess as to exactly who that user was: "Ah yes that's probably Brian.
