I'd also add that I wish I had started building an audience earlier. It's invaluable to have a sounding board as well as people to get any new products in front of. At the time it felt too time-consuming, but now with tools like GummySearch for Reddit, Aware for LinkedIn, and an understanding of lists and targeting on Twitter, it really doesn't have to take long to create at least some semblance of an audience. Run something like rbenv install 3.1.1 to install that version on your system (requires related project ruby-build), then rbenv local 3.1.1 in your code's directory to specify that for any ruby command in that directory only, you want to use version 3.1.1 that you installed through rbenv.
