GDevelopawesome, but contains some bugs like frezees or editor view crash
Based on our record, GDevelop seems to be a lot more popular than GrowVeg. While we know about 78 links to GDevelop, we've tracked only 4 mentions of GrowVeg. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
I also have a subscription to growveg.com, which is more of a garden planner app and will make intelligent suggestions about what to plant where and when, but I find I don't use it often because its library of plants is kind of limited, and it only offers 2-D (overhead) views. So anything I mocked up in growveg I would have to model a second time anyway. Source: over 3 years ago
I have used growveg.com for garden planning, but it has its limits. Is there a better program out there for non-professionals that include more than just your typical edible plants? Source: over 3 years ago
I have this app too, it is growveg.com. There is the planner that lets you layout your garden. It has companion planting suggestions as well as the ability to set up crop rotation for succession seasons. You can also add specific varieties of plants if they donโt have them in the database already. There is a journal as well, to keep notes and add photos. There are articles, bug info, plant guides, growing guides,... Source: over 3 years ago
Someone recently recommended growveg.com for a free trial for mapping out a garden. Source: over 4 years ago

Humble Bundle has a Godot bundle is available for the next day or so. That might be a good one to look at if you're ok with leaning into code a bit (gdscript is very very similar to python). https://www.humblebundle.com/software/learn-godot-43-complete-course-bundle-software Also check out the RPG Maker bundle. That's pretty point-and-click. You can have something basic up and running in a couple minutes... - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
I selected this library as I normally use much higher-level tools to develop games such as p5.js, or GDevelop. Both these tools are amazing in their own right; however, I want to learn how these processes operate on a much lower level. These tools take care of a lot of issues for you ranging from asset to memory management. Raylib is still cross-platform but does not handle these tasks for the programmer which I... - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
It's not as monolithic as you'd think. There are lots of engines out there but their communities aren't very vocal compared to Unity, Unreal, and especially Godot's community. Take a look at: https://itch.io/game-development/engines/most-projects And https://www.gamedeveloper.com/blogs/the-generous-space-of-alternative-game-engines-a-curation- If you look at both of these you'll see just how many engines there are... - Source: Hacker News / almost 3 years ago
