Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Greatwill and Solver.

What makes your product unique?

Greatwill's answer

Greatwill turns every group event into a short form. You fill in what happened during the financial year – an acquisition, intra-group sales, a dividend, a foreign subsidiary – and the elimination entries, reconciliations and the consolidation worksheet are generated from the form data. Most consolidation tools only sum up balances and leave the expert entries to be calculated by hand; Greatwill's forms contain that logic.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Greatwill's answer

Lightweight consolidation tools and accounting-software add-ons automate the mechanics but not the expert work: anything that cannot be derived directly from the subsidiaries' figures is still a manual entry. Enterprise reporting platforms are configurable platforms, not finished products – each group event is built in an implementation project. Greatwill has a ready-made form for every group event under FAS, no implementation project, and public pricing based on a base fee plus the forms your group needs, not on user counts or revenue.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Greatwill's answer

Finnish groups that must prepare consolidated financial statements under the Finnish Accounting Act (FAS): their CFOs and finance managers, and the accounting firms and audit firms that prepare consolidations for clients.

What's the story behind your product?

Greatwill's answer

Greatwill Oy was founded in Helsinki in 2024. In Finland most consolidated financial statements are still prepared in Excel, and even consolidation systems leave the elimination entries to be calculated outside the system. Greatwill was built to put that calculation into forms, so that the quality of a consolidation no longer depends on who prepares it.
