If you need something better than automated transcription, and you're willing to pay for it or you can convince your department to pay for it, then something like rev.com or gotranscript.com will provide you with much better quality for more money. I've considered using GoTranscript before, while I ended up not working for them, they did have a test that you could take to practice your transcibing skills (It seems since I last visited the site, they've made it so you need to have an account to do the test task). Source: about 3 years ago

This is more of a question than an answer, but has anyone used an online audio transcription site to create an English transcription directly from a Spanish language audio podcast MP3 file? I was just looking into this this morning, and seems like there are some services out there that will do this, either for free for small files (10 min) or at what seems like a reasonable price.
