Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Google's Python Class and SellerAide.

What makes your product unique?

SellerAide's answer:

SellerAide focuses purely on listing quality and compliance โ€” not keyword research, inventory tracking, or PPC management. While competitors bundle dozens of features most sellers never use, SellerAide does one thing extremely well: score your listing, find the problems, and fix them with AI rewrites tuned to Amazon's guidelines. It works as a Chrome extension right inside Seller Central, so there's no context switching. The compliance engine catches restricted words and policy violations before Amazon flags them, protecting your account from costly suppressions.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

SellerAide's answer:

Three reasons: price, focus, and speed. Helium 10 starts at $79/month for a bloated suite where listing optimization is an afterthought. SellerAide starts at $19/month and does listing optimization better because that's all it does. You get a quality score, specific fixes, compliance checks, and AI rewrites in under 60 seconds โ€” no dashboard to learn, no setup, just open your product page and click. Plus, most competitors ignore compliance entirely. SellerAide actively scans for restricted words, banned claims, and category-specific policy violations that can get your listing suppressed or your account flagged.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

SellerAide's answer:

Amazon private label sellers and brand owners who manage their own product listings. Typically doing $10K-$500K/month in revenue, selling branded products they own or control, and need their listings to rank, convert, and stay compliant without hiring a copywriter or agency. Also serves Amazon agencies managing multiple brand catalogs who need a fast, repeatable way to audit and optimize listings at scale.

What's the story behind your product?

SellerAide's answer:

I've been selling on Amazon for years and got tired of the guesswork around listing optimization. Every tool out there wanted to sell me a $79/month Swiss Army knife when all I needed was a sharp scalpel. I'd manually check my titles against competitors, Google restricted word lists, and rewrite bullets based on whatever blog post I found that week. It was slow and inconsistent. So I built SellerAide โ€” first as a personal tool to score my own listings, then added compliance checking after a listing got suppressed over a word I didn't even know was restricted. Once I saw how much time it saved me, I turned it into a product. It's bootstrapped, built by a seller for sellers, and priced so you don't need to be doing six figures to afford decent listing tools.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

SellerAide's answer:

Next.js, React, TypeScript, Supabase, Chrome Extension API, Tailwind CSS, Vercel
