Get a good pair of headphones and go for a walk while listening to audiobooks, music, or podcasts. You can use gmap-pedometer.com to map out path/distance. Just go at whatever pace you're comfortable with, everyone has to start somewhere. Source: over 3 years ago

I use this one but I don't think it's something you can integrate into one of those fancy gps watches: https://gmap-pedometer.com/. I use it on a browser to figure out new routes that I haven't considered before and that may help me explore new areas or sometimes when planning my commute. Source: about 4 years ago
