val8 is an AI-powered startup idea validation platform designed to stress-test business concepts before founders spend months and thousands of dollars building a product.

Instead of polite, agreeable feedback, val8 generates a simulated room of up to 45 grounded, critical AI personas across 3 groups: - 💼 Investors: Scrutinize TAM, defensibility, unit economics, and scalability. - 🔬 Subject Matter Experts: Challenge technical feasibility, operational bottlenecks, and regulatory hurdles. - 👥 Target Users: Evaluate daily habits, switching friction, and actual willingness to pay.

Validation Modes & Pricing - 🎁 Free Tier / 1 Free Credit on Signup: Every new user gets 1 free credit upon creating an account to run their first validation immediately - no upfront payment required. - ⚡ Quick Mode (1 Credit): 10 diverse personas (3 investors, 3 SMEs, 4 target users) in a rapid cross-category debate and score breakdown. - 🏛️ Full Panel Mode (2 Credits): 45 personas (15 investors, 15 SMEs, 15 users) evaluated across separate cluster rounds, followed by a final synthesis debate among top finalists. - 💳 Pay-As-You-Go Credits: Need more validations? Additional credit packages start at just ₹49 (~$0.51), with domestic and international payment support via Razorpay.

Key Highlights - Skeptic Preservation: Includes dedicated "roaster" and "ragebait" voices simulating real-world critics. - Actionable Report: Instant scores (1–100), key objections to fix, and prioritized next validation steps.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Google Forms and val8.

What's the story behind your product?

val8's answer:

Like most founders, we spent months building projects after friends told us the idea was 'great', only to launch to complete silence. Realizing that polite feedback kills startups, we engineered val8 to recreate the room full of skeptical VCs, strict domain experts, and picky customers that every founder needs before writing a single line of code.

What makes your product unique?

val8's answer:

val8 simulates a live, multi-round deliberation among 45 distinct AI personas spanning investors, domain experts, and target users. Unlike generic AI chatbots that default to agreeable praise, val8 uses skeptic preservation with dedicated "roaster" and "ragebait" voices that stress-test hidden assumptions and debate each other before delivering an actionable consensus score.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

val8's answer:

Traditional idea validation requires weeks of waiting on surveys, hiring expensive consulting firms, or relying on friends who are too polite to be honest. Single-prompt AI tools give superficial summaries. val8 provides deep, multi-perspective stakeholder debates and brutal feedback in minutes, with pay-as-you-go pricing starting at just ₹49 (~$0.51).

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

val8's answer:

Solo founders, indie hackers, early-stage startup builders, product managers, and entrepreneurs who want to validate their business concepts, identify blind spots, and assess real willingness to pay before spending months coding.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

val8's answer:

Next.js, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Supabase, Prisma, BullMQ, Redis, OpenAI, and Razorpay.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

val8's answer:

  • Early-stage tech startup founders
  • Indie hackers and solo makers
  • Product managers validating new feature concepts
  • Entrepreneurship students and incubator builders

Google Forms Reviews

  1. Very convenient software!

Helps my company solve many issues. We collect information from clients and employees. We conduct surveys and collect data. Very useful software. Helps form a common opinion, conduct analysis and analytics.

    Competitors: Survio
    Pros:    Speed|Visual|Functionality
  2. ✓ Adrian | Mobile Forms - Digital Inspections - Enterprise Checklists - Data collection
    · Marketing at Mobile Forms ·
A good beginners tool to start your digital transformation.

One of our customers said: Our small mining operation needed to go from paper based process to digital forms. At first, Google forms allowed us to use this Web-based platform that lets individuals and businesses of all sizes build customizable forms to conduct surveys and generate real-time response charts.

We saw that a small sample of our field workers quickly adopted the new way of working.

    Step 1: accomplished.

    Now unto step 2.

How do we deploy this unto our whole team? We needed email notifications, offline response collection when without wifi on the field. Our CIO and his director of operations needed deep data and trends analysis as well. Our inspectors, when doing their audits, needed to capture approx. 25 high definition pictures, some audio notes and a video which wasn't really possible with google forms.

So, we can 100% credit the use of google forms to our transition towards a paperless process, but as we navigated saashub.com a little more, we were able to discover a world of alternatives. We strongly suggest to start using google forms before undergoing a big implementation plan towards such enterprise level inspection tools like nspek or even cheaper solutions like prontoforms.

I am not sure if we would start with google's solution first if we would to do this digital transformation all over, but it did allow us to discover it's limits pretty quickly.

At some point, we needed custom fields and functions, and none of us was able to code, so the nSpek training that comes with the application definitely sets it's self apart, giving us full autonomy.

    Competitors: nSpek, ProntoForms
    Pros:    No sign up cost
    Cons:    Customization|Customer support|Data protection and security|No video|No pictures
