Both of those are easily solved by not bloating them. The real killer is the input tokens on each step. To be more effective you can schedule your content with tools like ThreadStart, FeedHive, HypeFury. I started using HypeFury but it was expensive I switched to ThreadStart and I am still using it. I am quite satisfied with it, although it has some of its perks. Still, research a little bit and decide for yourself. What suits me doesn't mean will work for you also. Source: almost 4 years ago
