Because everything runs in the end user's browser, they never have to trust a stranger's server with their data, whether the data is a PDF, a private key, or a JWT token.

Its a website built by one developer in his free time, in hopes that others will find it useful and that it would be a benefit to anyone who happens to stumble upon it.
