Glassdoor
BookStackGlassdoor is recommended for job seekers, current employees looking to compare industries or assess company-specific insights, and employers interested in gaining a better understanding of their reputation and employee satisfaction. It is also useful for HR professionals and recruiters who want to benchmark their companies against industry standards.
Small to medium-sized teams, open-source enthusiasts, educational institutions, and projects that require a user-friendly documentation system with the flexibility of self-hosting.

I use Glassdoor mostly to check out companies before applying or interviewing, and itโs helpful to see real peopleโs experiences with culture, pay, interviews, and management. Being able to compare salaries across roles and locations adds valuable context when negotiating or choosing between offers.
That said, the quality of reviews varies a lot โ some are detailed and insightful, while others feel vague or possibly biased. A few companies barely have enough reviews to make a solid judgment, which limits usefulness. And if your priority is finding the biggest, freshest list of jobs, other sites like Indeed or LinkedIn usually have more options.
Overall, Glassdoor is useful for researching employers and compensation, but itโs not always the most reliable standalone job platform

That said, is it possible to customize the theme a bit? Specifically, how can I set the code-block background to dark-grey? Also, how can I make the horizontal line a bit taller than 1px? I saw the Customizing Visuals page on bookstackapp.com (specifically the "Changing Code Block Themes" topic) but was a little lost on exactly how to make the changes. Source: almost 3 years ago
