The Git CLI is terrifying and awful. It's far too easy to clobber your own work -- and that of others -- when the whole point of it was to prevent that. While you still need to really deeply understand several git concepts to use it, GitKraken[0] is the best GUI tool I've used in daily practice. Https://hetrixtools.com/ It's free if you don't have too many servers - 15 uptime monitors (the most useful) and 32 blacklist monitors (useful for e-mail, but don't know why you'd need so many compared to uptime). It's fairly easy to reach the free limits with not many servers if you're also monitoring VMs, but I've found it reliable so far. You can use "htop" command to view current CPU, RAM and SWAP usage, also see which process is taking up how much of each resource.
