I loved using https://dslrdashboard.info/ when I had a compatible DSLR. My current mirrorless is no longer compatible. There's a version for just about every OS. Can grab it right from the Apple app store or Google Play store too. Works with a USB connection from phone to camera if necessary. Source: over 4 years ago
