Well, I thought of that, too, but it was 100% through https://affirm.com as I can see the loan through the app and have viewed it through their website. I dont believe that brintoro couldve gotten my information as the loan is directly through their service, not brintoros. Itd be the same on any service like amazon, id imagine. Unfortunately, I can't help much because I keep all of my development devices updated to their latest version. If I were you, during/after all this, I'd hit up affirm.com, and buy myself a new MacBook. Or maybe ask your employer to upgrade for you because it's obviously important for development.
