I've been researching a LOT of podcast recording software, and so far only two have had Safari capabilities: Restream.io and be.live. Even though I myself don't use Safari, the VERY FIRST PERSON I asked to test record a podcast episode with (my best friend) only uses Safari and she said "I'm willing to help you, but I'm not downloading another browser.
