while working in an education institute this seemed a good tool to check AI, citation etc. But actually when i used it it gave the wrong numbers, i would not prefer anyone one to use it . I expected a lot more
GitBook might be a bit more popular than Turnitin. We know about 6 links to it since March 2021 and only 5 links to Turnitin. GitBook is simple and clean, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need. I like it for early-stage products or teams with lighter documentation. You’ll eventually hit limits if your structure gets more complex, but if simplicity is your priority, it’s a solid choice. - Source: dev.to / 10 months ago
TL,DR: LaunchDarkly is great for B2C companies. Bucket is for B2B SaaS products, like GitBook — a modern, AI-integrated documentation platform. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago

Good question that led to insightful responses. I would like to bring GitBook (https://gitbook.com) too to the comparison notes (no affiliation). They, too, focus on the collaborative, 'similar-to-git-workflow', and versioned approach towards documentation. Happy to see variety in the 'docs' tools area, and really appreciate it being FOSS. Looking forward to trying out Kalmia on some project soon. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
You can have both a landing page (e.g.: www.your-project.dev) and a documentation website (e.g.: docs.your-project.dev). For creating documentation website GitBook is better fit than Gitlanding. GitBook is free for open source Projects (you just need to issue a request). - Source: dev.to / over 4 years ago
I was a philosophy major and ran arch in college without too many issues. Google Docs should also work for this and there shouldn't be any issues using the web version of... Source: over 2 years ago
This works for most schools and colleges as most teacher's arent given turnitin.com which is way more accurate and is what professors and universities use themselves. As someone who relied on zerogpt for months, It isn't as accurate at detecting as it claims so its probably isnt safe to submit important tasks like this. Source: over 2 years ago
As a final grade for my english class, we had to create a college personal statement essay and submit it through turnitin.com. I am hoping to submit this personal statement also to my colleges, but im scared im going to get marked for plagerism. Any answers to this? Would really help! Source: about 3 years ago
And how exactly would that work? Schools and colleges use services like turnitin.com all the time to check for plagiarism. I don't think you know what you're talking about. If I was your teacher, I would LOVE to see you try and sue me or make me lose my job. Source: about 3 years ago
The closest one that exists is turnitin.com premium which is close but not really accurate and definitely not free. Source: over 3 years ago
