Aternos is fine as long as you dont have too many people but a cheap paid one that runs 24/7 is ggservers.com I havent done much research on it because I was looking for a free option, but for 3 dollars you can supposedly get a server with up to 12 people with good speeds and no lag that has 24/7 live human support and you can add mods, I didnt see anything about it running 24/7 though. The counter function is written in Ruby. Since Ruby is an interpreted language, AssemblyLift deploys a customized Ruby 3.1 interpreter compiled to WebAssembly, which executes the function handler. Since the interpreter is somewhat large, the cold-start time of a Ruby function tends to be larger than that of a Rust function.
