Possible disadvantages of CommitCat

  • Uncertain Development Activity
It is unclear how actively CommitCat is being maintained and developed. A tool with infrequent updates may fall behind in compatibility with newer Git features or operating system updates.
  • Lack of Enterprise Features
CommitCat may not offer enterprise-grade features such as team collaboration tools, access control integrations, or support for large-scale repository management that organizations often require.

  • Good / your favorite ticketing system?
Genuity is what I use. It's simple and licensing is cheap and the devs listen to their customers suggestions. Genuity can also do asset inventory as well as other things like network monitoring and telecom/vendor expenses and there's an agent that can be installed on your PCs. Licensing is not per user or staff but a fixed monthly cost. You can also do multiple entities if you needed to. Https://gogenuity.com. Source: over 3 years ago
