GeekLink AI Subtitle Factory is a batch subtitle production line for macOS. Most subtitle tools process one video at a time. GeekLink processes all of them at once — speech recognition, OCR extraction, translation, editing, and export — in a single continuous pipeline. Import 2 videos or 200. Configure once. Click Run. Walk away.
Features: - Batch-first workflow: import your entire video library at once and process all videos with one progress bar. - AI speech recognition: built-in multilingual engine supporting 14 languages, with real-time subtitle preview and ETA display. - OCR subtitle extraction: extract hardcode subtitle. - Multi-engine translation: DeepSeek AI, Claude, or any OpenAI-compatible API. Custom prompts and terminology glossary to protect proper nouns. - Full subtitle editor: search, merge, split, millisecond-precision time editing, and per-segment re-recognition. - Two export modes: toggleable subtitles (SRT/TXT) or burned-in subtitles directly into video files. - Watch Folder automation: drop videos into a monitored folder and subtitles are generated automatically. - 100% local and private: videos never leave your Mac. No cloud uploads, no per-minute fees. - Optimized for Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4).
Instagram Transcript is a free web tool that converts spoken audio from one public Instagram Reel or video post into written text. Users paste a supported public Instagram Reel or video-post URL. It does not require signup, an Instagram login, browser cookies, or a private account token. Users can copy clean transcript text or download TXT. When timestamps are available, users can export SRT and VTT. It does not extract Instagram comments, likes, engagement data, profile information, private content, or all on-screen text. Intended uses include reviewing spoken content, research, content briefs, captions or subtitle preparation, and locating quotations. Users should verify important quotes against the source audio. The public site is released in English, with a Spanish localized page.

GeekLink.dev's answer
GeekLink is a batch-first subtitle factory — not a single-video editor. Most subtitle tools process one video at a time. GeekLink lets you import dozens or hundreds of videos at once and run them through a complete pipeline (speech recognition, OCR extraction, AI translation, subtitle styling, and export) in a single continuous workflow. Everything runs 100% locally on your Mac — your videos never leave your device.
Instranscript's answer:
Instranscript is purpose-built for Instagram content. Users simply paste a public Reel or video link to turn spoken content into readable, searchable, and reusable text—without manually downloading the video or transcribing it.
GeekLink.dev's answer
Three reasons: batch scale, local privacy, and all-in-one workflow. Competitors either process one video at a time (CapCut, Subtitle Edit), require cloud uploads (Veed, Kapwing), or only handle one step like transcription without translation and burn-in. GeekLink combines speech-to-text, OCR, AI translation (13+ languages), a style editor, and video export into one app — no subscriptions, no per-minute fees, no data leaving your machine. Import 50 videos, configure once, click Run.
Instranscript's answer:
Instranscript offers a fast, focused, and easy-to-use Instagram-to-text workflow. It removes unnecessary steps and helps users quickly extract, copy, study, or repurpose valuable ideas from Instagram videos.
GeekLink.dev's answer
Content creators who work with video at scale: YouTube creators localizing their channels into multiple languages, short drama studios translating 50-80 episodes for international distribution, educators adding subtitles to course libraries, and media companies processing large video catalogs. Anyone who needs subtitles on more than a handful of videos and doesn't want to pay per minute or upload to the cloud.
Instranscript's answer:
Instranscript is designed for content creators, social media managers, marketers, agencies, researchers, journalists, students, and anyone who would rather read or reuse the contents of an Instagram video than watch it repeatedly.
GeekLink.dev's answer
GeekLink started from a personal frustration: translating video content across languages was painfully slow and expensive. Every tool on the market made you process one video at a time, upload to someone else's cloud, or pay per minute. I built GeekLink to solve this for myself first — a local app that could chew through an entire video library in one sitting. The "Subtitle Factory" concept clicked: import raw videos on one end, get fully subtitled exports on the other. I shipped the first beta in early 2026 and have been iterating based on real user feedback ever since.
Instranscript's answer:
Instranscript began with a simple frustration: valuable ideas are often trapped inside Instagram videos. Finding a quote or reusing the content usually means replaying the video and transcribing it manually. Instranscript was created to make that process as simple as pasting a link and receiving usable text.
GeekLink.dev's answer
Python for the core engine, FFmpeg for video processing, and large language models for AI translation. The app is built as a native macOS application optimized for Apple Silicon (M1–M4) with on-device acceleration.
Instranscript's answer:
Instranscript is built with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. Cloud-based media processing and AI speech-to-text technology power the transcription workflow.

Instranscript's answer:
Instranscript does not publicly disclose individual customer or company names at this stage. Its main customer groups include independent creators, social media professionals, marketing teams, content agencies, researchers, and students.
As a creator and developer, I was frustrated with the current state of video localization on Mac. Most tools are either clunky Windows ports that lag on Apple Silicon or expensive cloud services that charge per-minute fees and compromise data privacy.
I built GeekLink to be a true "Production Line" for video creators. Unlike typical editors that process one file at a time, GeekLink is built for high-volume workflows.
We are currently in Free Beta. If you are a professional studio or a niche content creator looking for a native, private, and efficient way to handle subtitles, I’d love for you to try it out and share your feedback!
