Front might be a bit more popular than FreeScout. We know about 18 links to it since March 2021 and only 14 links to FreeScout. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
I considered trying to use one of the integration user licenses ($10 a month) or maybe something else? These emails are coming from the "Front" email service (front.com). Source: over 2 years ago
Google image search say it's this: https://front.com/. Source: about 3 years ago
I also googled "Shift alternatives" and found front.com which has a web application. Source: about 3 years ago
I agree with others in this thread that app-based is probably the way to go - especially if you're just building for one person. Just be sure she enables push notifications with the same settings as SMS. Others have mentioned Frontline (FYI: this product is end-of-sale), Crisp, and SpokePhone. I would also add Front as a potential app to check out as they have similar functionality. Source: over 3 years ago

FreeScout is a lightweight, open-source helpdesk built with PHP and Laravel. It positions itself as a self-hosted Help Scout alternative, and the comparison is apt -- the UI is clean, email-centric, and focused on shared inbox workflows. Surprised no one has mentioned FreeScout. It's a solid open-source helpdesk: https://freescout.net/. They have cheap, one-time purchase plugins. Happy to pay a bit to keep the project sustainable. I'd love to see an open-source Trello alternative that as well. There are a few out there, but nothing that seems actively maintained. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
I think FreeScout is going to be something to consider. Source: about 3 years ago
FreeScout is an open-source, self-hosted version of HelpScout that offers complete privacy and control through a PHP/MySQL application that's easy to deploy. This powerful-yet-lightweight help desk and shared inbox can serve as a nice free alternative to Zendesk/HelpScout for providing efficient customer support. Troubleshootmertr recommends it "for ticketing.". Source: about 3 years ago
I know this gets some hate for not being "pure" open source, but I'm a massive fan of FreeScout (https://freescout.net/). The core is open source, with add-ons you can purchase (one-time purchase per domain). Source: over 3 years ago
