I built it after repeatedly getting frustrated with existing converters, those that limit free use, add watermarks, track data, or make you wait. As both a developer and designer, I needed something clean, private, and fast. FreeImageConvert was born out of that frustration, and the belief that conversion doesnโ€™t need to be complicated or costly.
