Don't do bootcamp. Start with something like https://freecodecamp.org and take a few lessons. Try to build something from that and see how motivated you are. If you see some progress and this thing still excites you, then may be find an engineer (a friend/co worker etc) who can guide you a bit as you continue to build something. Https://wpcodebox.com/ better then Codesnippets. The developer is also nearing releasing a functionality that after you add all your snippets.. You can then export them all into a custom plugin. Pretty cool idea. Also, there is a cloud/community repo in the plugin for snippets other people have made and submitted. Source: almost 4 years ago
