I've been using WP Codebox for the past year and it's amazing. Not only can I target front-end/back-end, I can specify conditional logic (pages/posts), header/footer, ordering, and even save my snippets to the cloud for use on other projects. Source: over 2 years ago
Https://wpcodebox.com/ better then Codesnippets. The developer is also nearing releasing a functionality that after you add all your snippets.. You can then export them all into a custom plugin. Pretty cool idea. Also, there is a cloud/community repo in the plugin for snippets other people have made and submitted. Source: over 2 years ago
