Don't do bootcamp. Start with something like https://freecodecamp.org and take a few lessons. Try to build something from that and see how motivated you are. If you see some progress and this thing still excites you, then may be find an engineer (a friend/co worker etc) who can guide you a bit as you continue to build something. I was looking for a wood texture and was really impressed by something on sharetextures.com. At the bottom it said that the texture was created 'using photogrammetry'. I tried googling how to do it, but I only found tutorials for actual 3d models and not high-definition textures. Any resources for getting started would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
