Don't do bootcamp. Start with something like https://freecodecamp.org and take a few lessons. Try to build something from that and see how motivated you are. If you see some progress and this thing still excites you, then may be find an engineer (a friend/co worker etc) who can guide you a bit as you continue to build something. I've been using Hinge (premium user) for about 6/7 months, and suddenly got banned last week. I reached out to customer service to find out why and they said I violated the terms of service, but refused to disclose any further information about what I supposedly violated.
