Former blogger for Second Life virtual world. ~ Had my account revoked after I was told my blogging was "advertising", even though 100's of other users do the exact same thing. Years of work down the tubes. Will never use it again. ~ Note: They are doing this to push for "PRO" memberships, because the company is hurting for money.

Flickr, a Canadian photo community that pioneered social web 2.0. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
Is flickr.com still alive? It used to be so cool back in the day, but I dropped off from photography in general over like the past decade, so have no clue how things are going over there. Source: almost 3 years ago
20mm will look wider on your Z6II than your D40x but it should look the same as it does on any other FX body like the D780 or the D850. Go on flickr.com and search for photos taken with 20mm lenses. You can type 20mm in the search bar. Make sure you look at photos taken with full a full frame camera. If those match the look you are going for, go ahead and grab the 20mm. Source: about 3 years ago

Thanks! I'm using the KIRI Engine in Blender to render splats from my photos (https://github.com/Kiri-Innovation/3dgs-render-blender-addon) and then process the image as I would my photography in Lightroom. There are lots of different photogrammetry tools for generating plys (the point cloud) like PolyCam (https://poly.cam). - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
This is a cool idea! So I think, unfortunately, you are competing with automated tools like https://poly.cam/. - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
1) It has a camera function called "Lidar" which makes it possible to do 3D scans of rooms and objects using this app. Thew Air cannot. Https://poly.cam. Source: almost 3 years ago
Iphones that have the Lidar sensors on the back which can be used for real time scanning where you just walk around it. I use polycam since its free but it also has paid features. Theres a ton of others. https://poly.cam/. Source: about 3 years ago
For 3D rendering I have some success with https://poly.cam/ but it takes patience. Source: about 3 years ago
