  • Integration with Wearables
The app can sync with wearable fitness devices, allowing users to track their workout progress and monitor their health metrics effectively.

Possible disadvantages of FitOn

  • In-App Purchases
While many features are free, there are additional features and content that require a subscription or in-app purchases, which might not be ideal for all users.
  • Internet Connection Required
FitOn primarily operates as a streaming service, meaning a stable internet connection is necessary, which can be a limitation in areas with poor connectivity.
  • Limited Offline Access
Users have limited options to download workouts for offline use unless they subscribe to premium features, which could be inconvenient for those wanting flexibility.
  • Overwhelming Choices
The sheer number of available workouts might be overwhelming for new users who are unsure where to begin or how to choose the right program.
  • Potential for Impersonal Experience
Despite a wide variety of workouts and trainers, some users might find the experience less personal compared to one-on-one training or smaller in-person class settings.

Possible disadvantages of AZIPCODE

Compared to more robust location data platforms, AZIPCODE may lack advanced features such as radius searches, bulk lookups, or detailed demographic breakdowns that power users or businesses might need.
  • Ad-Supported Experience
As a free tool, the website may display advertisements that can be distracting and detract from the overall user experience during ZIP code searches.
  • Limited API Access
The site may not offer a well-documented or robust API for developers who want to integrate ZIP code data into their own applications or services programmatically.
  • U.S.-Only Coverage
AZIPCODE focuses exclusively on U.S. ZIP codes, which limits its usefulness for users who need postal code information for international locations.
  • Data Freshness Concerns
It may not always be clear how frequently the ZIP code data is updated, raising potential concerns about the accuracy and currency of the information provided, especially for newly created or modified ZIP codes.

I use FitOn. My employer provides access to it for free (Premium I think it $30/year) as part of our benefits package. Source: about 3 years ago

I highly recommend fiton for beginner bodyweight/dumbbell work. https://fitonapp.com You could also subscribe to ifit, they have rower workouts (no need to have a Nordic track rower, I use the app on a tablet mounted on my Schwinn bike), but it does cost money. I use it multiple times a week for cycling and strength and love it, but grouch about the price. https://www.ifit.com It takes a loooooong time and... Source: over 3 years ago
  • hand/wrist strain
Get into an orthopedist that specializes in hands and wrists. They can offer you some PT exercises to strengthen those areas. Those helped me immensely. Someone on here also said pilates, and I agree with that, too. The FitOn app has a bunch of free workouts that I use. They're only around 20 minutes long so they're not too taxing, and you can build up strength that way. Source: over 3 years ago
  • Is anyone else planning anything cute/crafty/fun to announce to their parents?
I'm trying to continue jogging as I did before, but I've also been using FitOn - they have free online workouts, including prenatal workouts :). Source: about 4 years ago
