Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Fatomi and CodeClimate.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Fatomi's answer

Recruiters and Talent acquisition specialists

What makes your product unique?

Fatomi's answer

Fatomi is the only AI recruitment platform built entirely around the recruiter's workflow โ€” not around administration. Unlike traditional ATS tools, Fatomi covers the full cycle in one place: job creation, CV parsing, AI-powered candidate matching with scored explanations, LinkedIn sourcing, interview question generation, and interview transcription. Every plan includes all modules โ€” you only pay for scale (tokens and seats), not for features. Data is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt) and fully GDPR-compliant by default.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Fatomi's answer

Fatomi replaces 4โ€“5 separate tools with one platform: no more switching between a sourcing tool, a CV parser, a matching spreadsheet, and an interview prep tool. The AI matching engine doesn't just give a score โ€” it explains every decision, so recruiters understand why a candidate fits (or doesn't). Unlike Workable or Lever, Fatomi is built specifically for AI-first recruiting, not retrofitted with AI as an add-on. Pricing is transparent and fair: all features are available on every plan, including the free tier.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Fatomi's answer

Fatomi's primary audience is in-house recruiters and talent acquisition professionals at SMEs and scale-ups, as well as recruitment agencies managing multiple clients and high volumes of CVs. It's designed for teams of 1 to 30 recruiters who need to move fast on technical or specialist roles without a large HR ops budget. Secondary audience: HR managers who want to bring structure and traceability to their hiring process.

What's the story behind your product?

Fatomi's answer

Fatomi was built out of frustration with the gap between what modern AI can do and what recruiters actually had access to. Sourcing was still manual, CV review was still subjective, and every tool in the recruiter's stack was disconnected. The founding team set out to build a single, recruiter-native AI platform โ€” one that handles the full hiring workflow, speaks the recruiter's language, and is affordable enough for any team size. The result is Fatomi: fast, explainable, GDPR-ready AI for recruiters.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Fatomi's answer

Fatomi is built on Supabase (PostgreSQL, hosted in Frankfurt, EU) for data storage and Row Level Security. The AI layer uses large language models for CV parsing, job analysis, and candidate matching. LinkedIn sourcing is powered by Apify. Interview transcription uses Groq Whisper. The frontend is a modern web application. Payments are processed via Stripe.
