That is exactly how fast.com works for internet speed tests. You open it, it runs, you see a number. Done. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
Pro tip: Run a speed test immediately before the event. Don't trust your "up to 100 Mbps" ISP claim. Use fast.com or speedtest.net to get real numbers. - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago
Speedtest has always seemed incredibly sketchy to me, I donโt know if others share this sentiment. https://fast.com completed the test faster than speedtest loads the site. - Source: Hacker News / 5 months ago

Recently, I took on an interesting open-source issue โ writing end-to-end (E2E) tests for the Google Maps integration in the sahat/hackathon-starter project. This starter also provides you with a boilerplate that features local authentication with email and password,... - Source: dev.to / almost 3 years ago
A few years ago, I built the website https://sea-air-towers.herokuapp.com/ whose code is at https://github.com/JohnReedLOL/TypeScript-Node-Starter . It's a site that helps people who annualy rent units in this beachfront vacation condo building find other units in the same building to rent next year (my mom is president of the building and asked me, with my bachelor's in Computer Science, to build the site for... If you're not sure what you want to do maybe build your own sample site from a "starter" like https://github.com/microsoft/TypeScript-Node-Starter (this one uses TypeScript which is JavaScript with types added) or https://github.com/sahat/hackathon-starter (this one uses plain old JavaScript without types). I personally deploy to https://www.heroku.com/ because it's less complicated than deploying to AWS or Google... Source: about 3 years ago
