Vite uses esbuild written in Go, absurdly fast to pre-process your node_modules dependencies. - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
The Metadata section tells SAM how to build your TypeScript code. Instead of running tsc and bundling manually, SAM uses esbuild โ a JavaScript/TypeScript bundler. It compiles your TypeScript, minifies the output, generates sourcemaps for debugging, and packages it all up. You don't need to install esbuild yourself โ SAM handles it during sam build. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
The reality is simple: minification was never security. It's a size optimization that bundlers like esbuild, Webpack, and Rollup do by default. Variable renaming slows down human readers but LLMs read minified code like you read formatted code. - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago
Esbuild is written in Go and is 10-100x faster than JavaScript-based minifiers:. - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago

Two more solutions I found are the Smyle mouse (commercial) and Camera mouse (free from Boston college). Tried the Camera mouse with dwell clicking and it seems to work ok. It uses a point on your face that you choose for a webcam to track, so theoretically should not be susceptible to eye saccades. The code is not available but I suspect they use openCV or something similar. Source: over 3 years ago
I also gave this go whirl http://cameramouse.org/ as well as this https://www.tobii.com/ I had one of the first iterations so it wasn't as polished as it is today and there may be more utilities/hardware now a days that are better at using your eyes as a mouse pointer. Source: over 4 years ago
