Ellipsis bridges the gap between review and implementation. Most AI review tools identify issues and leave comments. Ellipsis goes further: it can read a reviewer's comment ("Make this variable const" or "Add input validation here") and automatically generate a commit with the fix. - Source: dev.to / 8 months ago
HA! Your LLM agents/prompts nailed a hilarious tone. For https://ellipsis.dev > This website looks like it was designed by someone who just discovered the concept of "AI" and decided to slap it all over a half-baked template. Your color scheme is about as inspiring as a Windows '95 screensaver, and your layout feels like it was put together by a kindergartner with a crayon and a... - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
ImHex will tell you if it's compressed. Do you understand data structures? Floats, all those data types? I'd suggest looking at a format like msgpack to see what a binary data format could look like: https://msgpack.org/ Then be aware that proprietary formats are going to be a lot more complicated. Or maybe it's just zipped up json data, only way to tell is to start poking around at it. - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
ARJSON leverages bit-level optimizations to encode JSON at lightning speed while compressing data more efficiently than other self-contained JSON encoding/compression algorithms, such as MessagePack and CBOR. - Source: dev.to / about 1 year ago
I also read that Salt was using MessagePack to format their messages. MessagePack is a format like JSON, but more compact. - Source: dev.to / almost 3 years ago
So appreciate such a detailed reply, thanks. btw, why did you choose tinylib/msgp from 4 available go-impls? Source: over 3 years ago
If you find you're running the serial connection at maximum speed and it's still not fast enough, try switching to a more compact binary encoding that has both Serde and Arduino implementations, like MsgPack... Though I don't remember enough about its format off the top of my head to tell you the easiest way to put an unambiguous header on each packet/message to make the protocol self-synchronizing.
