Eagle Eye features and specs

  • Omnichannel
We think this sets us apart from other loyalty providers, our solution is built for omnichannel. This means your customers are met with a consistent and tailored experience, irrespective of the channel theyโ€™re in โ€”be it a brick-and-mortar store, mobile application or website. This is proven to drive long-term loyalty and boost your bottom line.
  • Real-Time
One of our founding beliefs when building our platform at the start was that everything should be real-time, all the time. Personalized customer experiences work best when everything is instantly up-to-date. Match that with our blazing-fast response times, your customers won't even know we exist, like it should be. Our average API response time is less than 150ms - quicker than a Google search for comparison! We also understand that sometimes things have to be done with an exported file, and we can cater for those use cases too.
  • Cloud Native
Hosted on the market-leading Google Cloud Platform, we have built our platform utilising the best cloud-based technology to ensure we can deliver maximum stability, security, flexibility & scalability, allowing you to execute your customer engagement strategy day-in-day-out, without worrying about any of the nuts and bolts.
  • API-first
Our API-first approach enables a seamless integration with all your existing back-end systems, and with any partner or third-party system. Our flexible API layer is designed for innovation, helping futureproof your business and enhances customer experiences across multiple channels whilst capturing real-time valuable data insights with just a few lines of code!
  • Integration Capabilities
Eagle Eye integrates with a range of third-party applications and systems, enhancing its functionality and providing businesses with versatile security solutions.
  • Created not curated
Uses cutting-edge machine learning and AI to programmatically create uniquely personalized offers for customers rather than curating the โ€˜best fitโ€™ set of offers based on a finite number available.

Advanced features, such as unlimited storage, advanced stats, and Magic Mastering, can only be accessed through higher-tier paid plans, which may not be affordable for everyone.
  • Storage Cap on Paid Plans
Even the paid plans come with specific monthly upload limits, such as 3 hours on the lowest paid tier ($12/month), which can be restrictive for active podcasters.
  • No Video Podcasting Support
Buzzsprout focuses solely on audio podcasting and does not offer support for video podcast content, which might be a drawback for podcasters looking to diversify their content format.
  • Limited Customization
Although a free website is provided, customization options are somewhat limited compared to using dedicated website builders, which might stifle creative flexibility.
  • RSS Feed Ownership

What's the story behind your product?

Eagle Eye's answer

In 2003, in a dimly-lit bedroom in Surrey, England, Eagle Eye was born. Although the business started "sort of by accident" (Steve Rothwell, 2022), it was founded on one core principle โ€“ treating people as they'd like to be treated.

The company was founded in 2003, with its origins traced back to a simple yet ingenious idea by our founder, Steve Rothwell. He was stuck at home, unable to meet his friends for a drink, and so came up with a solution to enable individuals to buy digital beer coupons which could be redeemed in their local pub. The aptly named buymeabeer.com perfectly combined Steveโ€™s three passions - solving problems, seeing things heโ€™s built in the hands of real people in the real world, and, of course, beer. The solution worked, but that was just the start. Within the next few years, the small team of Eagle Eye-ers (many of whom are still working here today) had secured contracts with the likes of Tesco, Pizza Express, and Asda (all of whom are still customers today).

In 2016, Tim Mason joined Steve Rothwell, becoming Eagle Eyeโ€™s CEO and bringing with him 30 years of experience working at Tesco in a number of senior management roles. Most notably, Tim was CMO from 1995 - 2006, where he was responsible for the launch of Tesco Clubcard, a very early pioneer of loyalty and something he is still deeply passionate about today.

Now, more than 20 years since its inception, itโ€™s safe to say weโ€™ve come a long way and that the Eagle (Eye) is soaring. We are now a team of +250 problem solvers, powering personalized marketing at a massive scale for some of the biggest and best-loved retailers in the world. But the core principle of treating people as they would like to be treated remains at the heart of our organization and serves as the secret behind our resounding success.
