What's the story behind your product?

Dubingo's answer

Dubingo started with a simple idea: language shouldn't prevent people from accessing useful content on the internet. There is an enormous amount of knowledge and entertainment available online, but much of it is created in languages that many people don't understand. With recent advances in real-time AI voice technology, Dubingo was created to make that content accessible in the user's own language without waiting for traditional translation or dubbing.

Dubingo is built as a browser extension using modern web technologies and Chrome Extension APIs. Its real-time speech translation and voice generation are powered by Google's Gemini Live API. The product uses streaming audio processing, real-time AI communication, JavaScript/TypeScript, and browser APIs for audio capture and playback.
