I would be interested in some good migration tools, paid ones are also ok. I found a post about this on drupal.org, but it didn't seem like an easy process. It is a multilanguage site with many content types, and a totally custom theme. Source: over 3 years ago
You got already good advice, but wanted to point the guide of drupal.org where you can see some tools listed with instructions and channels https://www.drupal.org/community/contributor-guide/reference-information/talk/tools. Source: over 3 years ago
There is a service call GitPod that provides a temporary container Drupal environment. If you are familiar with what is going on around the future of how Drupal modules will eventually be offered up, you will likely have seen the "Project Browser" module as a contrib demo of the approach. It is used for people to give feedback to the developers. So they set up the typical 'SimplyTestMe' but also a GitPod... Source: almost 4 years ago
For reviews, it depends entirely on what you mean by "review". I believe core has a simple comment module, although it may have been deprecated for D9? There are likely many review-style modules on drupal.org that might work, or if you just want to link out to third-party reviews then it could just be a repeating-value link field on the Product content type. They should also use standards tools like Github. The drupal.org platform was certainly impressive 10 years ago, today it's a pain to use it. They ducktape it with gitlab, but really it sucks to have to read documentation to simply do a pull request. Source: almost 4 years ago
Are you located in Canada? I am located in Canada and I had the same issue the a couple days ago; turns out the website I was trying to log into was "audible.com" instead of "audible.ca"- so I went to "audible.ca" instead of "audible.com", logged in, and that fixed it. Source: over 2 years ago
Well, I got a new phone and I when I log in with my email, it simply wont show me my account stats or the 62 books I have in my library. I have checked and it is set to the right marketplace, audible.com ... Source: over 2 years ago
I wanted to see what these virtual voice books were and couldn't find anything. It seems like Canada like everything else (sales, promos, discounts etc) was overlooked and we haven't gotten any of these (that I've seen). That being said, good this sounds horrible. I went on my old audible.com account to find these virtual voice books and.... yeah, no. Source: over 2 years ago
Yep. Although all the kindle books I bought on amazon.ca are whispersync compatible with my audiobook wishlist on my no longer active audible.com account. If I'm willing to pay the price listed + conversion to Canadian amount which makes the book more expensive. Whatever 7.49$ USD converted to CND is. That's why I moved my books to the Canadian marketplace so I could stop paying 14.95$ USD converted into CND which... Source: over 2 years ago
Despite all the technical stuff, my aim is always to make it sound as though we're sitting in front of that fire and you're being told a story. One of the best compliments I can receive is, "I forgot that I was being read to", or "he didn't get in the way of the story", which is an actual comment from an audible.com listener.
