DPPora's answer

DPPora makes Digital Product Passports practical for businesses of different sizes. It combines structured product, materials, sustainability, repair, recycling and compliance information in one permanent online record.

Passports can be published in 27 European languages, accessed through a durable QR-linked URL and updated without replacing the product’s identity. Previous published versions remain available as read-only historical records.

DPPora is designed to reduce the cost and complexity of creating and maintaining Digital Product Passports. Businesses can begin with one passport for free, manage products through a straightforward web interface and scale as their catalogue grows.

The platform supports permanent passport URLs, multilingual publication, historical versions, structured regulatory information, evidence files and spreadsheet imports without requiring an enterprise implementation.

DPPora is primarily for manufacturers, brands, importers and other economic operators preparing for Digital Product Passport requirements.

It is particularly relevant to organisations managing batteries, textiles, electronics, furniture, automotive products and other regulated product categories, as well as compliance and sustainability teams responsible for product data, traceability and supporting evidence.

What's the story behind your product?

DPPora's answer

DPPora was created by Faro Digital Media in Madrid after recognising that many manufacturers need a practical way to prepare for Digital Product Passports without adopting a complex enterprise system.

The platform was built to turn product information scattered across spreadsheets, technical files, supplier declarations and certificates into structured, maintainable and multilingual public passport records.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

DPPora's answer

DPPora is a web-based SaaS platform built with Next.js and TypeScript. It uses Supabase for EU-hosted application data and authentication, Cloudflare for secure global delivery and edge services, and supports sign-in through Google and Apple.

Its architecture also includes permanent public passport URLs, QR-code access, versioned product records and automated multilingual translation workflows.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

DPPora's answer

DPPora is a newly launched platform, and we do not currently publish customer names. We will only identify customers publicly when we have their explicit permission.
