We observed a straightforward but serious problem: CPR 2024 required Irish construction manufacturers to have Digital Product Passports in place from January 2026, but the only available solutions were either enterprise-priced platforms built for multinationals, or EPD program operators who issue PDF documents with no DPP functionality. The manufacturers most affected - SMEs with 50-200 employees, existing EPDs, and no internal LCA team - were falling through the gap. We built DPP Delivery to close that gap: a specialist service combining compliance consulting with a purpose-built platform, priced and designed for the manufacturers who need it most.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

The marketing and information site runs on Astro with Cloudflare Pages for performance and global delivery. The compliance platform is built on Python (FastAPI/Django) with PostgreSQL, using AI-assisted PDF parsing (PyMuPDF and OpenAI API) to extract structured data from existing EPD documents. Digital Product Passports are served as machine-readable JSON-LD, with QR code generation for physical product labelling. File storage uses Cloudflare R2.
