Dorik was founded by Anwar and Mizan, who have been building websites and templates since 2012. They started Dorik as a side project in 2019, launching their first landing page in April 2020 to gather beta testers. The platform went public in August 2020 on ProductHunt, where it quickly gained traction. Dorik aims to provide an easy-to-use, flexible, and affordable website-building platform accessible to everyone, inspired by the architectural term "Doric."
