Factflew is a digital file certification service built with a strict focus on data minimization and user privacy.

Driven by the innovative "Unknow Your Customer" (UYC) architectural concept, Factflew does not require your name, email, phone number, or any identity verification for its core functionality. The system only interacts with a technical pseudonym โ€” a unique FF-code generated on your device.

How it works: Your source files never leave your device. The SHA-256 cryptographic hash is calculated locally on your device using the Web Crypto API. Only this digital fingerprint is transmitted to be registered permanently with a reliable timestamp in the Polygon blockchain network.

Key Features: โ€ข True Anonymity: No registration, no tracking, and zero email collection. โ€ข Local Processing: Maximum security as files are processed entirely on your device. โ€ข Immutable Proof: Once confirmed on-chain, your certificate provides permanent, public verification of the file's existence at that exact moment. โ€ข Flexible Pricing: Pay a flat rate of โ‚ฌ1 per single certificate or choose device-based unlimited subscription plans.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing DocuSign and Factflew.

What makes your product unique?

Factflew's answer:

Factflew is built on the UYC (Unknow Your Customer) architectural philosophy. It allows anonymous blockchain file-hash registration, ensuring absolute user data privacy without requiring unnecessary personal details, account creation, or KYC.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Factflew's answer:

Unlike traditional timestamping or document-tracking services that demand your files or personal data be uploaded to centralized servers, Factflew operates on zero-knowledge and cryptographic principles. You retain full ownership, privacy, and control of your actual content while securing unalterable proof of existence.

What's the story behind your product?

Factflew's answer:

Factflew was created out of a necessity to solve a fundamental flaw in modern digital infrastructure: the invasive requirement to surrender private data just to prove ownership. It was built from the ground up by an independent developer to put absolute data sovereignty back into the hands of the creator.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Factflew's answer:

Cryptographic hashing (such as SHA-256) combined with secure public ledger/blockchain integration, designed with a minimalist and privacy-first web architecture.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Factflew's answer:

Factflew serves a universal audience ranging from everyday consumers to professionals, driven by a common need to eliminate information asymmetry and secure undeniable proof in high-stakes moments: Everyday Consumers & Mass Market: People navigating high-value domestic risksโ€”such as property rentals (check-in/check-out conditions), vehicle usage and parking incidents, purchases and returns, healthcare tracking, labor relations, and personal safety documentation. Professionals & Field Workers: Transport and logistics operators, educators, and service providers who need instant verification of assets, shift handovers, and cargo states. Tech-Savvy Creators & Developers: Independent creators, software engineers, and researchers requiring unalterable, privacy-first cryptographic timestamping for code versions, digital art, and intellectual property.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Factflew's answer:

Factflew is built to protect individuals and professionals across diverse everyday risk scenarios rather than only traditional corporate clients. Key user groups include:

  • Everyday consumers managing property rentals, vehicle conditions, and purchase disputes

  • Drivers and logistics personnel logging transit and transport states

  • Independent creators, software developers, and researchers protecting intellectual property priority

  • Professionals in healthcare, education, and labor relations securing daily operational milestones and agreements

  • Spam? Receive this through my work email to sign a document. Help!
Docusign has a .com address, def not a .click address. This is 100% fishing. A very easy way to tell is to hover over any url and see what the address is. You can also try to do a reply, or if your savvy enough look into the routing info of the email. Did it com from the companies domain? I.e. docusign.com, fedex.com, ups.com anything like that. If it didn't, its fake. Source: over 3 years ago
  • Has anyone built their own landing page for their rental so previous guests can rebook without fees/be partially independent from marketplaces?
No, it's definitely not dumb. Great point, I imagine there would have to be some legal contract, like docusign.com that can be signed electronically with a deposit. If anyone has anything to input on this, it would be great help. Source: almost 4 years ago
