Typing.comDocusaurus is recommended for developers and project maintainers who need to create and manage comprehensive documentation for open source projects or internal tools. It is particularly valuable for those who prefer a React-based approach and need features like versioning and localization out of the box.
Typing.com might be a bit more popular than Docusaurus. We know about 244 links to it since March 2021 and only 225 links to Docusaurus. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
I used Docusaurus to host my documentation website. Although it used mdx (based on React) while the rest of my website was using Svelte, there just wasn't a solution that worked nearly as well out of the box. There I made some basic tutorials and wrote documentation for the API. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
If you use a doc-as-code tool like VitePress, Asciidoctor, or Docusaurus, you can render CSV files as HTML tables at build time โ either natively or through a custom plugin. Most tools support CSV includes out of the box or with minimal effort, and any AI assistant can generate the glue code for your specific stack in seconds. - Source: dev.to / 7 months ago
There's no shortage of documentation tools out there, and honestly, that can make the decision harder rather than easier. After working with various clients and our own projects here at Digital Speed, we've found ourselves reaching for a handful of tools repeatedly: Docusaurus, VuePress, Redocly, and Fumadocs. - Source: dev.to / 6 months ago
Docusaurus is a popular choice for developer-first documentation, especially for teams that prefer Git-based workflows and static site generation. - Source: dev.to / 6 months ago
Docusaurus gives you complete control. It's open-source, React-based, and incredibly flexible. The trade-off? You're essentially maintaining a website. For a solo technical writer at a startup, that overhead wasn't something I could justify. - Source: dev.to / 7 months ago
Snarkytype is a typing tutor, similar to the likes of Monkeytype and Typing.com, is a typing test. Duh. But, there's a twist. Instead of just results, it includes a roast designed to flame you until you type fast ๐ฅ. - Source: dev.to / 7 months ago
I teach writing and one of the things that I started doing was requiring final drafts to be typed (since all students have access to laptops at school, I just give them tons of time to work in class and during my study hall.) They're VERY much hunt and peck typers, so I set them up on typing.com and that's been helping. Because of how now STAAR is online only and requires short answer and constructed response,... Do you remember all the letters on the keyboard? If not, do more learning on websites like typing.com. If yes, practice on sites like typeracer. Make sure you're getting 97% accuracy. Source: over 2 years ago
So recently I've been trying to learn touch typing on typing.com using the home row rules. However, I always find that I hit the Y key with both my left and right index finger depending on the word, and I hit the B key with my right index finger 90% of the time. Apparently the correct way to do it is always use the right index for Y and the left index for B. Source: almost 3 years ago
Did you learn proper typing technique (or something very close to it) by going to typing.com or typingclub.com or some similar website and working through all the various lessons and exercises until you could type without looking at the keyboard? Source: about 3 years ago
