DocuCommit is a self-hosted documentation platform that stores every page as plain Markdown in your own Git repository. There is no database: every edit is a real commit, so revision history, diffs, and restore come from Git itself, not from a vendor's revision table.

Non-developers get a WYSIWYG editor that writes clean Markdown (toggle to source anytime), a guided three-pane merge when two people edit the same page, and paragraph comments stored in a sidecar file so the Markdown stays clean. Developers get files they can grep, and AI agents can read the entire knowledge base with a git clone. No integration layer, no sync pipeline.

Includes full-text search, draw.io and Mermaid diagrams stored next to the Markdown, and one-click export to Markdown, HTML, and PDF. A desktop app for editing, plus a read-only server (Docker) that publishes the docs to the whole team. Leaving costs nothing: the repo is already yours, so there is nothing to migrate out of.

A startup from Sweden.

Knowledger lets founders, inventors, and creators share confidential work with anyone through a simple gated access flow.

Before your receiver sees your file, they complete a Prior Knowledge Declaration (sealed with AES-256 encryption, timestamped) and/or sign an NDA (NVCA standard, PDF auto-emailed to both parties). Then they get the file.

How it works: 1. Create an invite — add receiver name, email, and a link to your file (Google Drive, Notion, Dropbox) 2. Choose your gates — PKD, NDA, or both 3. Describe what you're sharing — three fields build the subject matter statement shown to your receiver 4. Send the invite — receiver gets a clean email with a unique link 5. Receiver completes PKD (sealed immediately) and/or signs NDA (PDF to both parties) 6. Receiver gets file access — all records sealed, timestamped, encrypted

Free test send to your own email. $9/month Active (unlimited invites). $3/month Vault (records maintained when not actively sharing).

One invite link. No account needed on their side. Free test send — no card required.
