Use of settings.py as a naming convention follows in Django's footsteps, but alternatively, you can save it to .env and integrate use of python-dotenv to more closely mirror Node. - Source: dev.to / 8 months ago
Let's dive into a quick implementation of this using AWS and Django. We will be using a couple of ideas from the AWS Official Blog. - Source: dev.to / about 2 years ago

This seems like a job for Django. MDN offers a really good tutorial here. To be honest, it would be a massive undertaking so Iโd recommend going for a prebuilt solution like PowerSchool and the like. Source: almost 4 years ago
The first party docs are second to none. Start out with the official tutorial on https://djangoproject.com . Source: about 4 years ago
Other considerations --I'm going to use tableplop https://new.tableplop.com/ for the VTT. Just positioning and potentially rolling dice (I also have a 3d dice room) -- no automation. If you're looking for a theater of the mind game, this won't be a good fit -- I like/enjoy battlemaps and tokens and make fancy ones. Source: almost 3 years ago
I recommend https://new.tableplop.com/ Simple and only took me like an afternoon to get the hang of it. I use dungeon draft for map making and it works pretty good too. Source: about 3 years ago
If the group wants we could use some online service for the visual part of the encounters like this service https://new.tableplop.com/ all narration and reply goes here to keep it play by post. Source: over 3 years ago
If you want something simple like Owlbear, what about TablePlop it has the simplicity of Owlbear while having Character Sheets like Roll20. You can send pre typed messages in the chat for rolls, you can do rolls yourself, it even has fog of war. I have been using this ever since it's beta stages and I love it. haven't changed VTTs ever since. Source: over 3 years ago
Currently on https://new.tableplop.com, amazed that it is not mentioned much. Owlbear with just a little bit more while staying simple. Source: over 3 years ago
